Algorithm is a digital and print-based zine creating content that gets people excited about creative coding.
Most tech magazines are targeted to those in the software engineering industry, There is no prominent magazine or forum for those who want to use code creatively.
The creative coding community has been a steadily growing area of interest for both programmers and designers alike, with a spike in popularity in recent years. There are already strong developed communities such as Processing and the p5.js communities
[the way designers want to use code is to make their websites look more artistic and custom and less templated.]

After my research, I found that simplifying the color palette for my magazine made the content feel more accessible, creatively elevated, and approachable for the creative coder. The majority of the magazine became monochromic before adding in color accents, leaning into the idea of 'color coding' to help with understanding and visual interest.
Color-coded tips and visual aids help keep the magazine approachable and ensure there's something for everyone.
